Terms of Use

These proposed Terms govern access to the GridLogic Analytics website, residential utility-bill calculator, modeled results, and downloadable reports.

Proposed effective and last updated: August 3, 2026

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing the website or selecting the checkbox stating that you agree to these Terms, you agree to be bound by them and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the calculator or purchase an analysis.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into an agreement to use a paid GridLogic service.

2. GridLogic’s service

GridLogic Analytics, LLC provides independent utility-rate and utility-bill modeling based on customer-supplied information, public utility tariffs, published assumptions, and third-party data services. Residential analyses may compare eligible APS rate plans and estimate how proposed solar, existing solar, or battery storage could affect modeled electric bills.

GridLogic is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Arizona Public Service Company or any solar, battery, finance, or installation provider.

3. Informational analysis—not professional or utility advice

The service provides an informational utility-bill sensitivity analysis. It is not an actual utility bill, tariff determination, engineering study, electrical design, solar sales proposal, installer quote, tax opinion, legal advice, financial advice, investment recommendation, guarantee, or recommendation to purchase equipment or change rates.

GridLogic does not evaluate structural or electrical suitability, installation quality, equipment condition, financing, taxes, incentives, insurance, warranties, maintenance, replacement costs, vendor qualifications, payback, or return on investment. Confirm rate eligibility and account-specific requirements with the utility, and consult qualified professionals before making purchasing, installation, financing, tax, or electrical decisions.

4. Customer information and responsibilities

You are responsible for providing complete, accurate, authorized, and correctly aligned information. You represent that you have the right to use any address, electricity data, solar-production data, export data, and other information submitted for the analysis.

  • Remove names, utility account numbers, credentials, payment-card information, and other unnecessary personal information from uploaded files and column headings.
  • Review the selected utility, rate, data period, solar size, battery specifications, interconnection date, and other assumptions before relying on results.
  • Do not misuse, disrupt, reverse engineer, automate excessive requests to, or attempt unauthorized access to the website or its supporting services.

5. Modeled results and changing conditions

Results depend on customer data, calendar-month approximations, modeled dispatch, tariff interpretations, adjustors, export compensation, weather, equipment performance, and assumptions shown in the report. Actual bills and savings may differ.

Utility rates, eligibility rules, time-of-use periods, demand charges, minimum bills, taxes, riders, export credits, solar programs, and regulatory decisions can change. Long-term values are nominal sensitivity scenarios—not forecasts, guaranteed savings, or investment returns.

6. Privacy and third-party services

GridLogic’s handling of submitted information is described in the Privacy Policy. The service may use providers such as Netlify, Google Solar and Geocoding, the National Laboratory of the Rockies PVWatts service, and a payment processor. Third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy practices, and GridLogic does not control their availability or independent processing.

7. Fees, delivery, and proposed refund terms

Prices and included deliverables are disclosed before purchase. You authorize the applicable payment processor to charge the displayed amount and represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method. GridLogic does not directly store complete payment-card information.

Payment and refund policy: Because the analysis is generated from customer-selected inputs and data, purchases become nonrefundable once report generation begins. GridLogic will review timely requests involving a duplicate charge or a technical failure that prevents delivery. A request should be submitted to the contact below within seven days of purchase. Nothing in this section limits nonwaivable rights provided by applicable law.

8. Limited license and intellectual property

GridLogic grants you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the website and retain a purchased report for your personal or internal business purposes. GridLogic retains its rights in the website, calculation methods, software, design, text, and report format. You retain your rights in information you supply.

You may share your report with your utility, attorney, tax adviser, engineer, installer, lender, or other professional assisting you. You may not resell the service, remove ownership notices, reproduce the website as a competing service, or falsely represent GridLogic results as a utility determination or guaranteed outcome.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website, calculator, reports, and related information are provided “as is” and “as available.” GridLogic disclaims express and implied warranties, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. GridLogic does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular transaction or decision.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GridLogic Analytics, LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost savings, revenue, profits, data, or opportunities; utility charges; equipment or installation costs; or decisions made using the service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GridLogic’s aggregate liability arising from a paid analysis will not exceed the amount you paid GridLogic for the analysis giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so portions of this section may not apply.

11. Suspension and changes

GridLogic may suspend access needed to protect the service, comply with law, address misuse, or maintain third-party integrations. GridLogic may update these Terms as the service changes. The effective date identifies the applicable version; material changes will apply prospectively unless law requires otherwise.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Arizona law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before filing a claim, you and GridLogic agree to attempt in good faith to resolve the matter through written notice and informal discussion. Subject to applicable law, any court proceeding will be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Maricopa County, Arizona.

13. General provisions and contact

If a provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. GridLogic’s failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, checkout disclosures, and any service-specific written agreement constitute the agreement governing the applicable website analysis.
