Refund Policy
This policy explains when a paid GridLogic residential analysis is nonrefundable, how duplicate or erroneous charges and delivery failures are handled, and how to request review.
Effective and last updated: September 5, 2026
1. Summary
GridLogic runs the initial analysis before payment. If the analysis completes successfully, the customer may choose whether to pay the displayed price to unlock the full results and downloadable report.
After a successful paid analysis, the full results are unlocked in the browser and the detailed PDF is available for download. GridLogic also stores a private copy of the completed PDF for a 30-day customer-access period and sends a short-lived secure access link to the email address returned in the successful Stripe Checkout session. Customers should use an email address they can access. If a link expires, the customer may request another secure link during the 30-day access period using the checkout email address and report code; issuing a replacement link invalidates the previously issued access token.
Because the unlocked analysis is customized using customer-selected information and data, the purchase becomes nonrefundable once payment has been successfully completed and the full results have been unlocked, except as required by applicable law.
2. Charges, delivery problems, and claimed material calculation errors GridLogic will review
GridLogic will review a timely request involving:
- a duplicate charge;
- an erroneous charge; or
- a verified technical failure that prevents the customer from receiving or accessing the purchased results after successful payment; or
- a timely, good-faith claim of a material GridLogic-caused error in tariff data entry, tariff interpretation, software implementation, or calculation logic.
If a technical problem prevents delivery or access during the disclosed report-availability period, GridLogic may first restore access, provide a replacement secure link, rerun the analysis where appropriate, or otherwise redeliver the purchased results. If GridLogic confirms that the purchased deliverable cannot be provided within a reasonable period, GridLogic will issue the applicable refund. If the customer entered an incorrect or inaccessible checkout email address, the customer should contact GridLogic promptly so GridLogic can determine whether the transaction can be verified and the report link re-delivered.
If GridLogic confirms a material GridLogic-caused tariff, data-entry, interpretation, software, or calculation error, GridLogic may provide a corrected analysis, rerun the analysis, and/or issue a refund as appropriate. Nothing in this Policy limits a remedy or right that cannot lawfully be waived.
3. What is not, by itself, a technical failure
A result that is lower than expected, shows little or no modeled annual bill difference, does not recommend a particular rate or equipment configuration, or differs from a customer’s prior expectation is not by itself a technical failure.
Customers are responsible for reviewing their selected utility, rate, analysis type, interval data, solar or battery configuration, dates, and other inputs. GridLogic may, when operationally reasonable, offer a corrected recalculation for a promptly reported good-faith input error. A different property, different data period, different analysis type, or material change in scope may require a new purchase.
Expiration of a short-lived secure email link is not by itself a technical failure when a replacement link can still be requested during the 30-day customer-access period. Likewise, expiration of the disclosed 30-day access period, or a customer’s failure to download or save a report before that period ends, is not by itself a delivery failure or basis for a refund, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Customer access ends at the 30-day expiration time; a scheduled daily cleanup removes the expired PDF and associated application-level retrieval record shortly afterward.
4. How to request review
Send the request to info@gridlogicanalytics.com within seven calendar days of purchase. If a claimed material calculation error could not reasonably have been identified within that period, contact GridLogic promptly after discovery; GridLogic will review the request subject to these terms and applicable law. Include the transaction date, amount charged, payment confirmation or receipt identifier if available, the email address used during Stripe Checkout, and the GridLogic report code if one was issued.
Do not send complete payment-card numbers, utility account passwords or credentials, or unredacted utility bills by email.
5. Refund timing
If a refund is approved, GridLogic will submit the refund to the payment processor within five business days after approval. Additional time for the credit to appear on the customer’s account depends on the payment processor, card network, bank, or other financial institution.
6. Applicable law and related terms
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits rights that cannot legally be waived or any refund or cancellation right required by applicable law. Where GridLogic offers or markets the residential service, applicable nonwaivable state-law rights remain controlling, including as applicable in Arizona, Nevada, California, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Colorado, and Utah. This Refund Policy should be read together with the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
